Smoktech ARO Pyrex Glass BCC - Black
The ARO is a PYREX Glass bottom coil clearomizer tank by Smok Tech similar to the Larger Evod and MT3 but this is made with Pyrex. With the pyrex you can use any liquid without worrying if the tank will crack.
The ARO is eGo threaded to work with most eGo style batteries. These work very well on all the eGo series batteries, incuding the eGo Twist batteries, although in my initial experience it seems to be a bit stiff threading on.
The coil is at the bottom of the tank, providing a nice vapor, with a excellent flavor, and eliminates most wicking problems.
The ARO comes with :
1 x 2.0ml Tank Assembly with permanently attached Mouthpiece.
1 x Installed coil head @ 2.4ohm +/- .2ohm.
Replacement heads are here
How to fill the ARO :
The Top does NOT come off. Hold the ARO upside down, Unscrew the base, fill into the side do not get any liquid into the center hole, fill to just under the lip of the center hole. Screw the bottom back on and turn over, it will be full.
Replacing the coil on the ARO : Remove the base, then unscrew the coil from the base, replace with a new coil, screw it on the base, then screw the base on the ARO as normal.
This is a PYREX Clearomizer
Return Policy on ARO clearomizers:
If it is DOA it will be replaced, if not, it is not under any warranty, this type of clearomizer has replacable heads and replacable bases, if you run into an issue with an oring or coil after using it for a while you would need to purchase a replacement. This clearomizer is NOT covered for broken glass. Inspect your clearomizer when you receive it for cracks.
Whoa! I thought the eVods were good, this one out of the package is stellar! I absolutely LOVE it. It's very smooth and gives out good vapor and for a minute there I thought I had put in the wrong liquid, stunned really as my liquid tastes a bit different, not in a bad way either. Buy one, you won't regret it, the only issue is that is doesn't take Kanger coils, which isn't really an issue, you just need to make sure to get the ARO coils. (coming soon)

I was excited to finally find a pyrex tank that was so cheap. After using it for a few days, there's obviously a reason: This is the worst leaking tank I've ever come across, & no, there are no cracks. With most tanks, you're bound to get a little occasional liquid buildup in the tip. Not this tank. If you hold it upright, liquid will leak from the bottom & get everywhere. If you take a hit, you're at a constant risk of swallowing multiple drops of liquid which can be HIGHLY toxic in large doses from the amount of nicotine you ingest at once. One night I reached for my pen to take a hit, & had to run to the bathroom to wash out the e liquid that started burning my mouse as soon as I put the tip to my lips. This tank should be recalled & taken off of the market before someone has to call poison control.
Eric's Edit: If you have a poorly functioning item, you should contact us for replacement, this is not a normal thing for this item. I mean no offense but if you feel this strongly, you should have contacted us, please use the contact link at the top of the page.

I use the ARO with my Itaste vv3 and its a perfect fit and look.
I have tried at least 20 kinds of attys cartos etc..., I finally found the one that is just right.
I have had the same 3 for months, and one pack of 5 replacement heads.
I have cleaned the heads several times and they are still going strong.
It is a great, clean taste and great vapor production!

I have been using the Aro v2's, love them. Decided to get these larger Aro's for my favorite juices. They are just as great as the v2's. No leaking, no gurgling, no dry hits. Only problems I've had were operator error. Love that they are pyrex, too. Easy to care for and the coils are inexpensive. Thanks, Eric!

Can't say much about this tank because I haven't really been able to use it. Every time I try I get dry hits. I've put 3 different heads on it plus rebuilt a couple myself and still continue to get nothing but dry hits. Disappointed

The ARO has quickly become one of my favorite tank/clearos. The vapor production is nice however, these bring out the best flavor in my liquids. For instance, I had a coffee flavor in a pro tank and it was okay; not a favorite of mine. When I put it in this tank it brought out all the little nuances of the juice and I could actually taste the cream and sweetener. It is now a go to flavor of mine. Plus, the durability of the coils is outstanding. I have had the black tank for over a month and have just changed the coil due to vapor production going down (and that was after using a dark coffee juice in the tank since day one). I liked it so much I bought a couple different colors of these for other juices.

Leaks, gurgles, taste like crap. Rebuilt the head 4 times. Even tried one of the pre-wrapped heads, same result every time, leaking gurgling, no vapor, taste like crap. I had high hopes for this one but it was a big disappointment. I'll stick with EVod's for now.

I absolutely despise this clearo. I've had tons of gurgling, some leaking, and the taste is horrible. The draw is pretty tight on mine, which I don't care much about usually, but it feels like I'm trying to drink a totally frozen milkshake. I get next to no vapor production, the throat hit is harsh... It's just bad. At first I thought it was just the coil and wick it came with, so I took it apart again, cleaned it, rebuilt the coil, wicked with cotton, filled it up and it's still digusting, leaky and gurgly.
I wanted to like this one, but I just can't. YMMV, but I think this is one of the worst clearos I've ever used.

I got 2 of these due to them being glass and their price point. Waste of money. Leaky, gurgly messes. Whenever I remove them from the battery there's tons of juice on the pin. Nothing like my evods or protanks. I was disappointed because like I said, I love the price point.

Love this tank, great draw looks good. Wish you could remove the tip. Great price!

People who say these tanks leak are not holding there mouth right. I own 6 of these and no leaks you have to seat the coils just little tighter and you will have no more problems.I use a tiny set of pliers catch the stem and turn gently if stem turns tight enough problem solved.

I have always love the T3S but had to be careful what to put in them. With these all I did was put the T3S heads in them and my dream of a pyrex T3s has come true. Promptly went back and got one of every color.

A much cooler and airy vape compared to the CE5 clearos I've used until now. The flavor and vapor production are excellent though. Metal and Pyrex construction does make it top heavy when used on an ego style battery but it definitely seems well made.No leaks and the coils are lasting me approximately 2-3 weeks.I purchased the black and the stainless versions and have no regrets. As always excellent customer service.

I bought two, used them for a month. Both don't leak, but both are flooding and they are getting so finicky I can't use them. Changed out the coils with new ones and I continue to get flooding into the battery top and also out the end of the mouthpiece. They also crack and pop. I like the bottom feed design, the amount they hold, but they get too much juice it appears.

After trying a range of kanger products i found that i loved the evod for the ease of filling, size, vapor, flavor, and mobility.. but i broke them often. Had this for two weeks so far and it does everything i liked about the evod and more!!! Plus pyrex is always a win

Bought a black Aro to go with my gold Apollo, and they look just as great together as I thought they would!
I liked the whole concept of the BCC (gravity works better than wicks!) and I've tried both the Kanger Evod and the SmokTech Aro.
I like the Aro better; the draw isn't as 'airy' as the Evod's and the flavor is better. Second point on the Aro - it's made of glass. An Aro won't crack like a poly Evod will.
Most of my 2.4 ohm heads last me for 3-4 weeks and I've NEVER had an Aro (I own several) leak on me. Can't say that about the Evod, either.
Deducted one star for not being able to use my own drip tip, but, hey, it is what it is.

No leaks, as long as you don´t blow on the mouth piece to get the liquid out, if you do you will get non-stop leaking!!! If you get liquid in the center piece blow from the end that goes in to the battery.
May be a Little to big

this is my new favorite tank. my biggest regret is just getting one. it has beautiful flavor retention and produces glorious clouds of smoke. i prefer this over my protanks. i cant wait to order more.

I am in the process of trying out different tanks until I find something that suits me. I haven't found anything yet that has lasted a whole week before the coil goes bad. The ARO came close! It lasted 6 whole days with a 3.0 coil head. I tried the 2.4 head on it, but that only lasted me 2 days.
I am impressed because it is a well-designed Pyrex tank and I don't have to wonder about PCB's. It lends a clean taste from my PG free smoke juice. It holds a good amount of juice. I like the fact that I can lay it down without worrying about it leaking or about juice getting into the center.
I'm not thrilled with the airy draw that I get from it, the top-heaviness, or the over-sized look on a typical eGo battery. I keep electrical tape over 2 of the 3 air holes, and it makes the draw a little tighter, but it is still a bit too airy for my liking.
It is definitely the most impressive tank that I have found so far, but I will continue to search for a tank with a tighter draw, a sleeker look, and one that's not so top-heavy.
